Toronto-based Wolf Manor Theatre Collective will present Three Sisters as the second production of its 2017 season. Anton Chekhov’s turn-of-the-century domestic drama focuses on three sisters who struggle with the boredom of a provincial Russian garrison town, and desire to return to Moscow in order to escape the familial claustrophobia. Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters is a sweeping exploration of vanquished desire, family, death, and legacy. Wolf Manor reimagines this classic in a gender-fluid dreamscape. By exploring unconventional casting, they reimagine and explore contemporary relevance amongst classic stories.

This is the seventh production by this young, and versatile company, Three Sisters will allow WMTC to further explore their mantra of raw and visceral theatre in stylized and fluent design, developed by emerging and professional artists.
